Honda Euro Meet August 2023

I'll be going to the Euro Honda meet in France this year, anyone else up for this?

It's in August and ties in nicely with the end of August bank holiday.

I went to this last year with a bunch of guys from Scotland. It was a great event, but when we went to book the crossings this year they were astronomically expensive and generally unavailable because the event coincides with the Rugby Union World Cup. So, we decided not to do it this year.

It works out at about £100 per crossing and the tunnel and ferry seem to be a similar cost.

When would you leave?
Trying to convince Bejal to come but means her taking work off on the Fri and maybe Thursday?
I'd be in the s660 and achieve 60mpg all the way.
Possibly the only one there?

It'd be on the Friday probably, get there mid afternoon stay Friday and Saturday night and cruise back on Sunday. The Mondays a Bank Holiday so there's no need to get back to work the next day either.

I'll be taking Will along too for a big weekend adventure.
