Lo All

I had a bummer of a day on Thursday

I parked in a multistorey car park in Bedford.
Came back four hours later to find a car parked next to mine so close I couldn't get in the driver's side

The other car was parked the opposite way round to Mine so they must have got out of their passenger side

When I got My car out I realised they had scratched the wing and onto the door and put a dent in it

I have taken photos and I'm also hoping for some CCTV.

Oh man, that absolutely sucks!
Even without CCTV, if you got the reg and took photo's at the time, that might be enough to claim under insurance yourself (but you'd have to go through your insurance to claim off theirs, which could potentially risk affecting your premium next year, unfortunately...).

Damn, that's terrible. I'm far too fussy to park anywhere near other people when I'm out in my Prelude. I'd rather walk an extra few hundred feet if needs be!

I'd have scratched 'c0ck p!ss partridge' on the bonnet as I left if they did that to mine.

I dont know why but other car owners seem attracted towards preludes and like to dent and scratch them.
I mentioned to Merlin last week that my front wing on my 4th gen was all scratched - not much you can do unless you catch them in the act or if they are decent enough to leave a note. Ive had to replace a door on my 4g twice as totally caved in from 4x4s reversing into it when parked.
I remember one 5th gen owner had some side protectors - was it Carrisma?
