This can happen if the 12v battery went a little bit flat, or perhaps you ran the car with the alternator belt not connected?

Check that your 12v is as it should be (over 12.5 at rest, 14v+ when running).

You should be able to retrieve a fault code from the SRS, using the flash code technique (by shorting the service connector).

If that all checks out, try turning the car on and off 20 times. I know it sounds ludicrous, but I've had similar on rover 600 which is practically an accord (which is practically a prelude). Sometimes low voltage will take a while to clear, hence the 20 key on/offs.

Cheers folks, I'll short out the service connector tomorrow and see if that helps. It's got a fairly new battery in it already so it shouldn't be that but we'll see.

Right folks, I'm here to pick your brains again.
The studs that hold on my rocker cover have terrible threads on them.
First world problems I know, but it annoys me none the less.

Can someone perhaps point me in the direction of a set of new ones to please?

Someone just posted on FB looking for a set for their B series engine and they were pointed to a set for sale on Amazon.

Any help would be very much appreciated as usual.

I've been going through my Prelude while it's been off the road over the winter.
My timing belt was over tensioned and it was whining and driving me nuts, so I bit the bullet and stripped everything off and backed off the tensioner ever so slightly.
Such an amount of work for such a small fix but it was driving me nuts!
I also guessed that my engine mounts were tired and in need of some attention and found this on the front mount.
I've ordered some polyurethane sealer and I'm planning on filling them all up over the next few days.
From what I've heard, filling up the gaps really helps stiffen them up. Only one way to find out.

I found the car undriveable around town with the rear mount filled with poly, and I found it uncomfortable with the front mount filled. Back to stock eventually. I'm sure it'd be great for a track car.

I think I have a couple of good condition OEM mounts if you are in need.

With the rear mount filled the vibrations were annoying but the need to be 100% precise when setting off or changing gear ruined the driving experience.

The front not as bad, but the OEM feels better and there's no benefit in filled ones v's not filled.
