Most of them don't spend ages to get it spot on unfortunately - mixture of they're under flat rate time constraints and most cars aren't sensitive enough/don't have as much adjustment possible as a 4ws lude. Though that doesn't at all help the owner!
(The less amusing thing is when a place tries to tell me my mk1 C5's need a 4 wheel alignment - when the rears are completely non adjustable trailing arms with taper-roller bearing pivots and the only adjustment on the front is the two track-rods... No thanks mate, just the cost for the most basic two-wheel tracking job thanks!)
