Well everything electrical runs fine when engine is running. It's when engine is off wipers are sooooooo slow as are windows. I think it's battery. The fact leaving it running puts more charge in the battery for a bit makes me pretty sure alternator is working ok.

Honda should only charge £60 odd for a new battery under Honda Happiness scheme for ya. At least they did for me.
Miles cheaper than anywhere else and a perfectly good (if a bit heavy) battery :)

Definitely battery.

That voltage is fine for alternator running. Battery definitely should not drop to 7 volts quickly, or from using the wipers.

If you haven't got a Honda dealer nearby, Eurocarparts also do a battery for £61. It's own brand (Lion) but after the abuse they get in my 924 and Xantia, I can tell you they are definitely good batteries!

changed the battery and the starting issue is sorted. Got a Yuasa or something £70 but literally 30 sec drive away would cost me #10 to get to honda in fuel alone assuming i could get her started. Central locking on drivers door still mucking about. Going to change fob battery even though its not that old just to rule something else cheap out.

Cheers for all the help guys.

There's a reason it's 80aH and not 70 like other Hondas - 4WS!
