How about aircon cooling unit drain hose blocked?

Be careful, there can be nasty bugs in there.

Is your or has your car been parked on an incline ratty?

Mine was parked on my drive for a couple of rain soaked days and the usual drain points turned into little rivers. when i finally moved it i noticed about half a pint in the boot and upon inspection found another half pint in each of the rear passenger seat dips  all my instal wires were swimming but lucky no water had made it to bare metal.

If it has been parked front upward or with the drivers side cocked then you could have collected a puddle in a drain point (either side of the bonnet, below wiper assembely etc) and leaked it into the car mate.

I hope its this easy...
6th gen Prelude please Mr Honda. RWD 2.4 turbo lude.

I liked the carpet, I mean proper rug munched it out and its water not coolant.

LLL - my driveway is almost as flat as Keira knightly so can't be that.

I will remove the cowl and check. Maybe my type s is just moist for me.

Whilst my 4th gen was a bare shell I noticed there was a tube (sunroof drain I think) which passed through the passenger kick panel. It was a tube pushed into a black grommet type thing - and the tube would easily come away from the grommet - in which case sunroof water would just tip into the footwell. I dont know if 5th gens are the same around this area - but probably worth checking the manuals or have a look.

I think iv sussed it out.

- Its not coolant
- Its not comming from the firwall
- Centre console area carpet is bone dry
- Under seat is bone dry,
- Its wettest around the fuel/boot lever area
- Never had this problem until i put the wind deflectors in.

I think its the drivers door seal on the door itself. Iv fitted in back better but it is damaged and it always has been.
Will peel the carpet back this weekend and put new deadening in and infrared heat lamp the drokk out the carpet/front.

I nearly said the other day... When I had the door weather skins off the inside of my 4th gen doors, I was surprised at the amount of rain that splashed inside the car and how wet it got.
