Sorry to hear this guys, was hoping this one wasn't too good to be true
That is shocking trying to pass them off as Samco, should just be open and sell them as unbranded silicone - it's a great price for a full set of silicone hoses so they'd still get some takers.

How did you tell they were fake?

I think what others have said is right, if you report them to ebay they're duty bound to remove them/block the seller.

I was sold a fake item on ebay once (ipod), I informed ebay and they refunded me the cash, the seller was removed and I kept the item as there was nowhere to send it back to.

Thats right but most of them fit in the LHD Prelude

if they are genuine i would keep them and use the parts that fit but like Madhatter wrote they seem to be replicas

Interesting... So since Samco don't do the full lude kit anymore, buying the Civic EX kit could help cover the rest of the hoses?

Anyone know for sure which of the hoses on a lude these replace? (or rather, which ones they don't?)

so even though they are totally different, will 5/7 hoses (except the two from the heater) still fit a RHD lude?

I cancelled my order with them as well due to them being fake, but if they are not going to do any harm and most of them fit then it may still be worth the 65 nicker

Quick thread resurrection here ... I see these are still for sale on eBay.

Can anyone confirm that this set includes the "water inlet hose" that runs from under the VTEC solenoid to the thingy at the bottom of the bulkhead? Burst mine today, and an OEM one looks to me like it costs £35 or so. (Part no. 79720-SS0-J03)

I figure for £65, I can either move the rad hoses on (already got silicone ones) or keep them as handy spares. But only if it has the hose i actually need in the set!

I guess you already know this but you could just use decent cut hose. Goodyear is about the best stuff I've come across. I've used it for a few vac lines as well as looping a couple of coolant lines after my rebuild.
