I think its because UK spec models were underseal from the factory whereas JDM models weren't as they don't put down salt on the road, unlike us. im sure the boffins will correct me if im wrongmart609 wrote:UK have less rust? isn't it the other way round?

That's about the strength of it I believe Mart.
I've seen rusty as fook UKDM's and JDM's, (and shock horror 5th gens too..) and very tidy ones too.
I remember way back when I got mine and imports were very common, this thing about underseal was talked about but I never saw any actual evidence of a difference, plus all ludes were built in Japan anyway.
