Seat Belt Extender (passenger) 4th Gen

Post by simonc » Sat Oct 31, 2015 1:08 pm

Hi all,
I'm in the market for an ace condition seatbelt extender thing, for the passenger side of a 4th Gen.
Feel free to name the price, thanks so much, Simon.

Are they not the same, I.e. reversible?

I can't find anything on Lings and Googling only seems to come up with 'extenders' that increase the length of the belts for fatties.

I swapped belts on mine to pass a roadworthy here when i first bought the car,i had an Aussie ludes drivers side from my last car thinking an easy swap over to get rid of the frayed one but the they have different mounting brackets attached that are not interchangeable so yeah i just swapped the drivers side over to passenger and vice-versa so the extender is now passenger.
Want it back over though as it is alot more comfortable on the shoulder, just got to source a non frayed drivers jap belt now

Do you mean the "helper" arm that holds the belt in an easier-to-grab position, as opposed to something to allow fat people to belt up?

Yes, he means the arm that 'extends' the belt from the reel so it's easier to grab.
