Yeah it's just on the top of the arch, probably just needs the back edge tucking back a bit from where it has been repaired from rust in the past. Not sure what the offset is but I got the alignment sorted at the same time.

Cheers, no they're just 17"s (Rota Torque). I've got some 16" SuperT's to put on at some point (after a refurb) but not sure if I prefer these.

I went home today to pick up one of my other sets of wheels; I figured my current wheels scraping on the arches could be down to the offset being wrong. I am not sure how they are supposed to sit but I don’t think they should be sticking out like this…

Anyway, I had to move a few parts out of the way to get to my wheels in the shed. One of them was a carbon fibre bonnet which, you may remember, I bought a few months back with the intention of refurbishing it (by sanding it back and re-applying clear coat). Whilst I had it out of the shed I thought I would try it out for size today. I’ve been putting it off as I thought it would be difficult to remove the original bonnet by myself but I thought I’d give it a go! It was actually quite easy – I managed to do it during my lunch break. This is how it looks on my car...

Anyway, after fitting it I’ve decided I don’t like it (even looking past its current condition). I am not a fan of the scoop, it serves no purpose on my car, and I much prefer the look of the OEM bonnet - so I am going to put it back (I reckon that will be much harder to do on my own though).

If anyone is interested in buying it – watch this space, it will be going up for sale soon… It does need work: the surface is patchy, matt in places where the lacquer has gone but it can be refurbished. There is also a gap down the side of the bonnet (nearside), less so on the other side. I suppose small cosmetic issues like this won’t matter too much on track day cars, but for me it is just too much. I will post an ad when I get chance to take more pics and it will be up for around £100 delivered due to the size of it.

in the pic with the wheels jutting out it looks like you have spacers fitted ;) there is far too much gap between your rim and the disc :o

i have always wanted a real carbon bonnet but i am not sure if even mine would pull that one off :D
that vent is huge ;) perhaps it would make mine look more stealth

I had the wheels off a few weeks ago to get the suspension lowered & didn't spot anything by way of spacers, but then I wasn't looking for any either.

Yeah that bonnet is a hard one to pull off I think. It's not for me anyway. I was considering painting it to match the rest of the car but the vent would still look out of place on my otherwise standard prelude.

Agree with Dbo, from the bottom pic in your last post, the front wheel spacing looks ok but the rear wheels look way too spaced out.

Pics can be deceptive though... :?

I had a look again today and the gap is indeed huge. Much bigger than the fronts. There seems to be an extra inch or 2 on the rears, looks similar to the front in terms of shape and colour, just sticks out further.

I will take it to mate's garage to check out as I can no longer get my trolley jack under the car to get the wheels off.
