That was definitely some serious blow-past.
Yep, the downpipe has been butchered to fit, but I wouldn't worry about it too much so long as the studs now line up ok.
Just make sure you use some washers behind the nuts and a new gasket and all will be ok.

Just phoned the only parts place thats open today and they dont have anything.

Is it worth phoning back and asking about one for a civic? as they always go on reg number im wondering if they might pull up something that will fit but looking under another car.
I really dont want to have to wait until tuesday to get one as im gonna be really busy from tuesday onwards and have today and tomorrow off!

So i just went to the parts place and they were saying that the civics and the ludes and stuff were listed in the catalogue as ring gaskets. i ought 2 as they were only 1.50 each.
There is a groove around the downpipe end that looks like it could seat the ring gaskets but im not sure about it. anyone know if these will be ok?
