So pleased this was bought by someone on the forum who'll fix it up/finish it!

Doesn't look like too much body needed to it? Bit of blistering in the middle of the arches but that's it? Decent alloys and away?

So it has VS1 rear lip, what are the sides? Are they VS1 sides blended in, or customr filler jobs?
What's on the front?

BTW, what's that W reg thing in the background inside the garage?

RWD it.

But, do it properly, engine at front, manual gearbox in the middle, and RWD at the back.

I'd be looking at MX5 or 200SX running gear - from memory the dimensions are pretty much spot on for the rear sub-frame to be close to bolting straight up (to get the correct track), and plenty of tuning bits available.

:? Wouldn't you get better weight distribution with the gearbox at the back?

You're then getting away from "simple" (and easy-to-find) drivetrains like the MX5 and 200SX, where you've got a longitudinally mounted engine & gearbox.
