Since I'm not concerned with weight saving like the track boys are.. I could strip all extra bits out of my car and have a lightweight racer, but I'm not about that. Plus, me and my LPG kit combined weigh less than some people I know

It isn't much weight really, and it depends how much you regularly drive your car. If you're in it everyday you will soon notice the savings.

Who said I can't afford it? Plus it uses the same amount of fuel, it just costs about a third of the price. If I'm leisurely cruising to work, or driving up to get my kids, sat on the dual carriageway at 70mph, why in the world would I burn through fuel at £1.45 a litre when I can get to the same place, at the same speed, in the same car, with lower emmissions, for 55p a litre?
I don't mind at all mate, you're entitled to your opinion and I'm certainly not going to sell my 'Lude because you don't like me getting cheap fuel   But I see what you're saying, no one should convert the big engined cars that they love to run LPG to save money on ridiculous UK fuel prices - instead they should all buy 1 litre Corsa's.. :-|

Hell yeah I am! I get so many compliments about it, especially as now I've got those wheels and black rear lights on - I think it all ties together well :D

I knew this gonna happen. I don't wanna anybody thinking that I'm looking into anybodys pocket measuring how deep it is. Your choice what you driving and on what fuel. And defo you don't have to follow mine opinions/ selling your cars/ other or thinking I don't like you because you're using LPG/GPS/4WS/ABS/other. I'm done.

I stick with the fuel which manufacturer choose and designed the engine for. I'm not looking for savings and even more I'm rather going oposite way.

PECE :) We still sharring one passion-Prelude. And as far as you keep it alive there is a good reason to like you ;)

:) I don't mind at all, I just thought it was on odd thing to say. Not quite as odd as you saying you're actually looking for ways to make your car more expensive to run though?! Stab a hole in the bottom of your fuel tank, your running costs will rocket then mate!

Fair enough, thrash the BMW and convert the DERV, you'll save even more money then as diesel is even more expensive than petrol!

Gotcha. Just I thought I recall you saying it was a temporary thing until you got your badger damaged original front one repaired? Or did I imagine that? :?

It was temporary originally @wurlycorner, but after the amount of people that stopped to talk to me about it, I had to keep it :)

I never got hold of another lip (or half front bumper) to repair my original so I just stuck with the WW one :)
