Since I'm not concerned with weight saving like the track boys are.. I could strip all extra bits out of my car and have a lightweight racer, but I'm not about that. Plus, me and my LPG kit combined weigh less than some people I knowDonald wrote:Since when did that matter![]()

@lewd lude lover
It isn't much weight really, and it depends how much you regularly drive your car. If you're in it everyday you will soon notice the savings.lewd lude lover wrote: I like the idea of LPG, and having an easy, cheap filling point is a massive bonus, but its the added weight to a sports vehicle that puts me off. I can see the pocket change adding up though.. do you think the added weight/fuel usage is worth considering?
@K30DPC
Who said I can't afford it? Plus it uses the same amount of fuel, it just costs about a third of the price. If I'm leisurely cruising to work, or driving up to get my kids, sat on the dual carriageway at 70mph, why in the world would I burn through fuel at £1.45 a litre when I can get to the same place, at the same speed, in the same car, with lower emmissions, for 55p a litre?K30DPC wrote:IMHO if you can not afford all expenses including petrol then you should change your car for something cheeper. Prelude never been made to use LPG or to be economical in use. It has big lump and more/less 200bhp so it need extra fuel.
I don't mind at all mate, you're entitled to your opinion and I'm certainly not going to sell my 'Lude because you don't like me getting cheap fuel

@wurlycorner
Hell yeah I am! I get so many compliments about it, especially as now I've got those wheels and black rear lights on - I think it all ties together wellwurlycorner wrote:bb1boy are you still rolling with that flocked front bumper then?
