Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

I'll only buy HP printers these days. Only inkjets with the print head built into the cartridge, so you get a fresh one with each cartridge change and they tend to avoid the clogging up you see on Canon and Epson stuff. They also have much much better driver support for non Windows kit than the rest.

I bought a HP Envy 5532 second hand on ebay for £15. A set of cartridges (colour and black) is £15. No duplex on that though. But, working well with Windows, Linux and my mates OS X laptop wirelessly for both printing and scanning. Which is nice.

I meant to say, Lisa's printed on this canon straight from her iPhone (which is just witchcraft, IMO! :scaredtoss: ).

Thanks for the input guys.

I've had a share of the lot but not an HP before.
I'd made a decision, then she had to have an idea that was basically spending more on a less reviewed printer.
Cue row started by printers and now the house to myself

I got myself a Dell C1765nfw a few weeks ago - colour, laser, copier/scanner, networked (wired and wireless)

Granted - it was £150, but it's been fantastic so far. Can get a full set of replacement toners for about £30, and will do loads of prints on a set of toners - and will never dry up.

I've had too many inkjet printers, and they always either: 1) stop working, 2) decide they're out of ink and stop working, 3) ink dries up and it stops working.

Lasers are obviously miles miles better. Couldn't find a compact duplex colour laser scanner for anything that was at all affordable when I was looking though. I just couldn't argue with the value of the inkjet in the end. :?
