Crank pulley bolt
Crank pulley bolt
so i finally got round to building my engine, and as it turns out the h22a crank shaft pulley bolt is a smaller size compared to the h22a5 bolt that i have.
Does anyone happen to have the h22a crank pulley bolt?
i really need one and im finding it very difficult to find one to buy due to it being an import engine.
Or if people have suggestions of how i can get round this i know i could find another generic bolt but i dont want to risk it seeing as it is such a highly torqued bolt.
Thanks

Why have I never heard of this before?
14X33 and 16X49
The 14X33's part number is apparently 90017-PT0-003 while the 16X49 is 90017-RJA-003.

There is a few threads from the US that talk of different pulley bolt sizes http://honda-tech.com/honda-prelude-4/h ... t-2578284/Merlin wrote:It should be (is) the same size. I have never heard of anyone saying any different.

It isn't a 5th gen thing. The H22a2 (UK 4th gen) and H22a8 (UK 99+ 5th gen) crank bolts are the same (16X49).
Is it a JDM 4th gen thing? The JDM Type-S uses the same 16X49 as the UK engines.
