Well, after a rummage around my garage I came across an old driveshaft from one of my crx's i used to have. After removing the cv joints I was left with a shaft which was roughly 10mm longer than the prelude one. I'd already bought a replacement outta cv joint for my prelude so swapped that over with my prelude inner cv cup and put it in.....
And everything seems to be grand! Albeit I've only took it around the block but she feels fine, at least for the time being until I can get my hands on a genuine prelude shaft.

Yeah but likewise, you can take a 2ws shaft and fit the reluctor ring to it (transfer from your old one), right? I thought (but didn't explain) that.4thgenphil wrote:You can run abs shafts on a non abs car but not the other way round, the abs sensor pick up is on the other cv joint, it can be removed if you're that anal ( I was)
The auto box thing being a bigger issue of different lengths or whatever (I forget exactly...)
