You can run abs shafts on a non abs car but not the other way round, the abs sensor pick up is on the other cv joint, it can be removed if you're that anal ( I was)

Well, after a rummage around my garage I came across an old driveshaft from one of my crx's i used to have. After removing the cv joints I was left with a shaft which was roughly 10mm longer than the prelude one. I'd already bought a replacement outta cv joint for my prelude so swapped that over with my prelude inner cv cup and put it in..... :D

And everything seems to be grand! Albeit I've only took it around the block but she feels fine, at least for the time being until I can get my hands on a genuine prelude shaft.

Yeah but likewise, you can take a 2ws shaft and fit the reluctor ring to it (transfer from your old one), right? I thought (but didn't explain) that.
The auto box thing being a bigger issue of different lengths or whatever (I forget exactly...)
