Great news, well done.
I thought it was an extra earth that was required (there is a mistake in the Honda service manual wiring schematics) and meant to look out my marked up wiring diagrams during the week and post them up for you , but was too busy and forgot

Thanks mate - once I got the EL dials working, i got a shot of motivation to have a crack at the dimmer switch installed! So glad I did, love having that now. The EL dials do seem pretty bright at night, especially when your eyes get use to the pre-facelift dials!vanzep wrote:top work - well done for seeing this through and nice extra bonus of getting the dimmer switch installed
Thanks mate - I must admit, you doing yours gave me the motivation to do mine! Thanks for your help too, all those pictures and info via WhatsApp! If you want to install the dimmer switch n yours, its pretty easy! I'll give you the info if needed.sol-lude wrote:Yaaas well done mate. Take my tammie off to ya.
Really glad you were able to get this resolved
Thanks Iain - i did a lot of testing and worked it out. I didn't remove the old dials till i had it all working and tested. I drove it with the speedo on my lap just in case. It's such a pain to remove the loom and dials then to find its not working.wurlycorner wrote:Great news, well done.

Hi @Dino, yes check the earth's, there should be two. One from the relay and one from the loom EL loom on the passenger side. It is frustrating but ones it all works, its so worth it over the pre-facelift dials. If you don't have a dimmer switch, get one and do the wiring for it, it's about 4 wires.
Let me know if you get any issues and keep us updated. I'll be fitting EL dials to another pre-facelift lude next month too.
