JAE - Thanks

Post by Gayno » Sun Sep 09, 2012 8:59 pm

Just a MASSIVE thank you to all who joined us this weekend at JAE.

I do believe everyone had a brilliant weekend, partying hard into the night on Saturday! (Thanks to my gf and her Vodka drinking game of "cheat" )

LLL - Thanks for bringing the sounds, we were one of the loudest at night, and you say that that was your smallest rig! 8-)

Honda Hardy - Thanks for buying an extra BBQ just for the weekend, and the Vodka Melon! (Anyone notice a Vodka theme going on here?!) - this guy is one hell of a genuine and generous person!

Confused - for the 7 different flavours of Vodka (there it is again!)

Rach (my gf) - for driving her own car to enable me to bring the Prelude. Without this, I would've had to leave the Prelude and bring my daily drive to fit everything in.

And everyone else for making this weekend what it was. JAE is all about the side, drinking and partying well into the night - we were requested to turn off by security at 1am, making us the last club still going!!

So once again, thanks for making a brilliant weekend, sadly it's the last one of the year for me, and I'm already looking forward to what next year may hold, lets just hope we can grow as a club and have even bigger stands at all the shows.

Was a great weekend, I hope more can come next year!

Can we get past the levels of attendance of PUK of old with 40+ cars at JAE next year?

Was a fantastic weekend - especially as the weather was perfect all weekend and it seems this really was the last of the summer according to the weather expected this week. Thanks to Adam / Rachel and crew for organising this event - especially those who arranged for lighting and music which added to the whole experience. Sorry, we didn't help to dismantle and pack the huge gazeebo, but our own kit took forever to dismantle fold/pack away in the heat, so we were all knackered by then and we needed to get moving (3 hrs trip).

It was nice to meet the regulars and meet some new faces. We all enjoyed it, me, bro-in-law Chris, and my mate Jason (proud CRV owner).

It would be great to plan this event with more lead time so more people could attend. Book the time off work as soon as the dates are confirmed for next year. I found PUK from one of my early visits to JAE and there were great numbers of cars supporting the event then, it was fantastic to look/compare discuss mods on all the cars. It would be great to see rows of Lude's of all generations again. Roll on next year.

Thanks all again for the weekend.

Was a great weekend, thanks everyone, though the sunburn is stinging a little now. The beard's gone now too as I only grew it to keep warm as I was sleeping in a tent.

Hopefully next year the lude may make an appearance. :scaredtoss:

it was great knowing a few people from other clubs and stands too. just bumping into people you met ant a show earlier in the year and conversation flowing. really good boost to the energy levels.
