Yesterday I went to the barn to do some tidying up/sorting out of bits etc and received a text from the landlord while driving there, to say the unit had been broken into overnight.
They'd broken into every unit on the site, but seemingly taken nothing.
Apparently in most of the units, it was impossible to see that they'd even touched anything. In mine, there was clear evidence they'd gone through my tool chest (so the fuzz will be asked to fingerprint that) but they've taken nothing.
So odd. Even if they were after something in particular and didn't find it, there was stuff in mine that was an easy take away and worth a good few hundred quid (e.g. the diesel genny, tools etc.) so why didn't they take that while they were in?
The worry is of course that they were just casing everything to pass info onto others who are into the kind of stuff that's there, to come back in future
