I know what you can do.

When you give the builder the plans, 'accidentally' put the wrong scale on the vertical elevation ;)

BTW congrats, that is fantastic news. I guess the car will have to wait a while now tho while you build somewhere to put it

Are you gonna get involve with any of the build work yourself?

The rear extension I'm going to get done by the professionals... I want it up as soon as possible and I can't afford to take the time off work even if I could lay bricks fast enough. The garage I'm going to attempt myself as it's only single skin blockwork and then it's going to be rendered, so even if I do end up with terrible pointing it will be covered. I can then do it in my own time. Going to get the foundations done at the same time as the extension's though.

It would need to go to the foul sewer not the soakaway though, so best to decide before that extension gets built over it! :D

Too much run on the plot to bring drainage up from the garage towards the house, hence the soakaway. Think I'll just make do with washing the car out on the drive ;-) Nice idea though :)

Congrats buddy. I think we are all a little jealous. I'd kill for my double garage plans (which should start rolling soon), but it's nothing in comparison to the space you'll have. So you'll have room for another red lude on axle stands to put next to yours? :P
