4th Gen Bonnet Catch Assembly

Post by indigolemon » Mon Nov 11, 2013 10:45 am

At the front of the car, holds the bonnet shut.

In good working order with both springs present please!

I could look for mine, but it wouldn't be until the weekend. It'd be in my shed if I've got it and I need daylight to find anything in that b@stard dumping ground

There's one on ebay atm too, IIRC?

Whats up with yours Indigo? Is it not latching back after you've opened it, by any chance? I had that problem on my UKDM and sorted it with de-greaser and a hose! :D (bottom of page 1)

It's the lower spring that makes it pop open, the mount has sheared and the spring has vanished. So just going to replace the whole assembly I think!
