On my old Accord, the rust was there within 5 years! 9 maybe 10 years old it was scrapped mainly due to rust everywhere.

Exactly that.

Nissan used it too.

apparently these stickers were fitted when a Honda was sold back to the dealership, it met or passed all of Honda's safety measures and was put back on the lot to be resold.

If you get the artwork done I can try a few samples, I have 2 ways to do internal

White with the blue bits laid on top or Blue with the white laid over the top with the blue cut out

I don't know which would work better for limiting bubbles where the 2 colours meet

It might be fine and you don't notice, but just thought I'd make you aware

I seem to recall that they were like a factory stamp on new cars, kind "inspected and ready to go", rather than a dealer pdi stamp on used cars. Reason I say this is that my dad was the second owner of my Accord (I bought it off him when I was 17 if I promised to sort all the rust so could learn some respect for the car) and he bought it as a private sale. So it never went back to the dealer.

i have been looking at images on google, due to the deterioration on some of the images i think they are some sort of waterslide, perhaps im able to reproduce them using an ink jet printer and a4 waterslide paper.

@nafemannathan could you reproduce an actual size image and send it to me please, so all i have to do is print it to the paper and cut it without any re-sizing or pixelating. crisp white and vivid/sharp blue and high res?

No problem Sam. I was going to recreate it 1:1 scale anyway :)
