ATTS - Oil Pressure sensor - Come on boys

Post by RattyMcClelland » Sun Jan 18, 2015 11:57 pm

Got a code 64 on my ATTS which is the right oil pressure sensor.

ATTS has 2 sensors. One for left side (top of the unit, the bitch one) and a right side (bottom area of the unit...nice and easy).
Luckily mine is the nice and easy one if ATTS is still on the car.

Honda UK want....wait for it.

£372 for the sensor. Which is very cheap i think.

USA prices if i can get one shipped is around $230 before shipping...

Any spare ATTS units out there that can give me a sensor....or any Type S folk willing to sacrefice their sensor for my needs.

That is ridiculous...

It'll be a standard sensor from an aftermarket supplier of course, so probably worth hanging on to the duff one afterwards, so it can be matched in future for mucho cheapness...

 wasn't there a type s being broken in Poland or somewhere, posted on the forum recently?

I doubt anyone will want to sell just the sensor though as it makes the ATTS unit that they'll want to shift £300+ less desirable.

Yep. That's the problem.

God I love ATTS but it's a fracking bitch. Fracking toaster scum. My sensor might be fine who knows but judging from that picture nath the right sensor is the top one which means dropping atts to get it.

I wonder if that oil pressure sensor is anything like the one on the VTEC solenoid (on an engine that has one) ?

The Vtec solenoid Pressure sensor is under a third of the price though, so I doubt it's the same internally even if it's the same thread size.
