please help me 4th gen parts

Post by firstlude » Tue May 26, 2015 10:12 pm

hopefully you good people can help me as my bargain car seems to be turning into a money pit so please be kind with your prices for the following parts , pair of nostriles , n/s plastic sill/carpet garnish in black , n/s/r seat base not sure on trim pattern will have to take pic for you all , anything to do with the air con in the engine bay on a f20a4 engine as all my air con bits are missing , should there be a trim panel on underside of bootlid ???? that will do for now sorry if it seems a bit long winded i am kinda thinking if the air con bits are to expensive we could be leaving it air con less :( :(

Ok well firstly for the bootlid, there is no trim panel for the underside, so that's one thing you don't have to worry about at least :D

Do you want pre-facelift or post-facelift nostrils? (either will fit, just a case of preference really).

Did the car originally have air con? I.em has it got an air con switch on the control panel and does it still have the matrix pipes poking into the engine bay? Also, does the car have ABS or not? (believe it or not, this will affect what air con pipes you need to get up).

You should be able to pick up the parts you're looking for relatively cheap. I wouldn't bank on finding a good second hand air con condensor though (that's the big matrix that sits in front of the rad). You may well need to go new for that...

Currently none on ebay.

These are them pretty much...

http://shop.12tune.com/browse-by-parts/ ... -1996.html

But I'd hold out for the ebay versions as they are more like £25 a set if I recall correctly.

Just search "Prelude eyebrows" on ebay from time to time.

Genuine originals are Hiro with the 2 slats on the grill part or Azect with none.

So the ones I linked to are Azect replicas. The ones usually on ebay are replicas again obviously, but I think they're made by a Polish company/guy and are essentially non-branded.
