I may be there if I can get the car running in time. I am hoping it will be ready by the end of May for RTTS, however I may be asking a bit much to get it running and immediately drive it to Newquay and back!!

I'm still looking about for a different pub, maybe one that's north Somerset so 1) Nafe/Pete don't have to drive as far and 2) so us city boys get a bit of a drive on some country lanes

I have been before to The Blue Bowl Inn which is down in the Chew Valley near the lake.

Anyone have any objections to giving this a go?
