Since meeting up with Wayne a couple of weeks ago, a germ of an idea has come about. I would like to propose a meet on the Soutcoast for all those interested who live within, say, a 2 hour (ish) driving distance from Southampton. I would guess anyone living south of the M4 corridor, across to Bristol, Avon, Somerset and Dorset, Sussex and Kent would not find a trip to the Southampton area too onerous. I would suggest meeting on a Sunday would be best around mid-day. Saturday tends to be shopping and other chores day. I would also suggest that it takes place before Easter, as most people will have commitments at this time, and after Easter is busy with holidays and other major events. I have 2 potential meet up points in mind. Mayflower Park, in the centre of Southampton, on the dockside, or Portsdown Hill, near Portsmouth. Both locations have adequate parking, as well as catering facilities, burger van etc. The advantage of Portsdown Hill is that it is just off the M27 and is slightly easier to access than Mayflower Park, although the second location is well signposted as it is near the docks which has fairly good access, but is near the town centre. Datewise, I would suggest either Sunday 15th March or Sunday 22nd. Mid-day meet up. Once I have had input from some of you guys between now and the end of the week, I'll announce a firm proposal.
Mike!

Sexiest 3g in the country currently resides in my barn
 Maybe one day Phil and I will stop getting distracted by touching each other while we gawp at it and actually get on with putting it back on the road :?

A lower front cross member would help... Haven't you got yourself back over to Leicester yet? What's keeping you?

..and don't forget my wiper arm, please. Any of you guys got more thoughts on location for the meet. Looks like Portsdown Hill is the favourite. You can come and ogle at my 3g , Wurly, bring back memories.
