I did indeed. That's why I've got them nowMerlin wrote:Did you get those doors in the group buy? I think he still has a set left over which I am trying to buy off him. What are you doing about roll cage?

Well my long-term plan has been to get the engine built and dropped into the red lude to track and then I can concentrate on properly track prepping the silver chassis which will include a roll cage and these doors.

Ooooo thats some nice stuff!
The diff is a plate diff? I need one too.. My quaife isnt the best choise for the track I've been told.
Your welcome Nathan !
Merlin, he was the only one who singned up for the " group" buy.
Asked you just before I went and ordered. Needed to take out 4 sets minimum. So I got two sets , a guy in the netherlands one and Nathan got one.
You can definately buy the other set of me. Something went wrong with the pm so will contact you soon.
Pm me your phone number, thats easier.
Sorry Nathan ..
Great stuff you got! Now get it driving!!

Re: Nathan's Road-Legal/Track BB4
Which work? All the work I've done to it is transferable to the silver shell. The only thing that won't be will be the arches once I've widened them, but that will be a practice run to make sure I'm happy with the styling and that it's done right. It'll also mean I can get on the track quicker as I won't be bothering with the body work on the red one.wurlycorner wrote:But, in all seriousness... Why not just sticking with the red shell Nafe, after all the work you've done to it?

Relocation
Well it's been nearly 4 year and 3 months since I parked the lude up...
(February 2012)

She's changed a little bit since then, and so have her surroundings!

But just this evening I pulled her out!

I gave it a bit of a check over. Not too bad considering. A bit of a rusty hole in the rear of the passenger's sill...

The passenger's rear arch has a hole as well, but it's very localised and it's going to be cut out anyway...

A nice bit of lacquer peel...

A bit of fade on the roof...

And a bit of rust on the rear of the roof, but this will be easy enough to sort as the rear glass will be coming out anyway.

The back of the driver's sill is bubbling up a bit as well. Sure I'd be able to poke a screwdriver through that...

But the arch is fine...

The rear is fine although a tad faded...

And all at the front is a little condensation in the driver's headlight...

My rear wiper delete is holding up fine as well
...

Anyway don't get too excited, my intentions are to manoeuvre the car through this gap...

Down here...

And park it up here...

Hoping I can get it done tomorrow. Fingers crossed it doesn't rain too much. And all going well I'll get the Silver lude down there a following weekend also
