Re: Drax's R & T Lude *New Engine Build: H22 Papa Smurf edit
did some research and found this, makes sense - basically the F series rods im using have oil squirter holes in the rods as the blocks they come from don't use an piston oil jet attached from the block.

Ah
well done.
So I was right - it is for cooling the piston and you do need to keep this.
I was also right though that it's because I don't know the innards of (in this case F
) series engines
So it turns out you still have them, but by some other means
and the gang
But worth mentioning/checking in the first place!

meant to post this about 2 weeks ago
bottom end all put together, along with JUN baffled sump.

next, I shall be giving spraying head, then fitting that to the block.
a few weeks ago I managed to get time to do a bit more to the dash, installed the Hondata extension end for quick access with my laptop for tuning, and also put the s2k starter button in. Ordered a relay for the job so just gotta wire the bugger in.

top left one is from a Del Sol import fuel capNafemanNathan wrote:What do your stickers say?

its a battery cut-off, not ignition - yeh I could have got a scruitineers sticker pack at Demon Tweeks down the road but I like the old skool rally look of home made stickers for these things, I know im odd!Merlin wrote: Is your "battery cut off" a battery or ignition cut off? If you want the motorsport style "off/on" stickers google "Scrutineers Delight" sticker pack, its only a couple of quid.
