Am loving this write-up! :D Skunk2 manifold and TB are sitting around waiting to be fitted on mine but I'm going to wait until I get it tuned and get the engine builder to fit, along with new head, cams and cam gear.

Where did you get the CF spark plug cover? I keep meaning to buy one.

If your having someone work on your engine it's defo worth having them change these as it was an almighty pain in the arse. As for the plug cover I found it on eBay but there are various companies out there making them. One just went on eBay a few weeks ago for about £30.

Look like that, I want my engine to
Thanks mate, it changes again shortly.

Ahh screw it! Just bought an H22 carbon fibre spark plug cover from www.fiberworxonline.com - £65 and should be 3-4 weeks.

Suspension & Brakes

With all the extra power that I am now (potentially) running I thought it best to get the rest of the chassis sorted. First and foremost brakes. I decided to run the ATR twin piston calipers with stock rears and a set of black diamond combi's all round. For pads I decided to go with Hawk HPS as they combine excellent stopping power with a minimal dust formula. The front calipers were fully rebuilt using genuine honda parts and painted red to match the rears that I had already painted. I also added a set of Hel braided hoses for good measure.

Unfortunately I don't have pictures of each stage of this build so I'll just post what I have at the end of this update.

Suspension was taken care of with a set of BC Racing coilovers, (4th gen) energy suspension polyurethane bushing kit, Ultra racing front lower tie bar and a full set of new ARB links. When fitting the bushing kit all components were stripped, cleaned and painted before refitting and anything else that was visible was also painted.

Here's the pics.

Once all the work was completed we took the lude out for a drive up to the lakes.

The drive was now excellent, the turn in was much tighter and the car felt like it was new again. Overall I was very pleased with the work carried out and would definitely recommend all items used.

Thanks, it took some work but in the end it payed off. I had comments from everyone who worked on the car at the time about how clean it was underneath.
duckface wrote:Great work man, looks extremely clean & tidy indeed 8-)
