Mate, this build is gonna be sweet! 8-)

Just make sure you do it properly so it doesn't blow up.

Craig absoluttely nothing to worry mate. I don't blame you for any of those. I'm 100% satisfied and not gonna complain. From beginning I was thinking about alloy oil pan so it would be changed anyway. I did expect it will be rusty and it was. And at the end of the day it is allready sorted. Another bargain :D :D but I will show it to you when I get it :D :D

Oem alternater also dosn't make any use for me because my audio system would probably kill it. I can say you saved me from keeping or selling it ;)
Again THANKS A LOT and don't be sorry. Everything is fine

I wanna do proper built engine with ability to double the standard output power, or if it will be possible get even more   Standard RFM sleeves aren't enough strong I'm affraid so dartons is the only way.

I have spent some time working on my new baby
First pics of damaged parts which I said I will show. Pickup pipe

And oil pan

Engine block is dissasembled now. All internal parts are cleaned and wraped with cling film and waiting for machine job. Here you can see crank stright after I pulled it out from crank case

Engine block after some love. Basicaly I just degrise it. I started to wirebrush it but my dremel get retired and I'm waiting for new one to finish the job.

This is a quick wiev on cylinder. It's the worst one so I can say engine was in great condition. Others also have small scratches but nothing major. All this is still nothing to worry as I'm going to darton sleeve it.
Image

And small bounch of parts I collected today from honda dealer. They rape my wallet but nobody said it will be easy.

questions questions.
I was always wondering how do you install this kind of seals. My toolbox isn't mega big so I need some simple ideas how to but safe for plate and seal.

More parts ordered from honda and h-tunes.

The way I've installed main crank seals before is to lie the seal flat on the bench, put the housing over the top square and then gently tap the housing down onto the seal with a plastic mallet (light taps working evenly round the recess). That stops damage to the seal when you're trying to knock it in.

No practicular updates here - just to remind you all guys I'm still alive

Some more parts arrived from honda dealer

And from H-tune

And not much changes to my ride.
Today was very nice weather so I decided to give it a bit of deserved touch. Finally I took it to car wash and then I used 3M wax. Results, as expected with 3M, better than good

And as you probably noticed my bonet risers. Still not sure do I like them or not. My luvly bird hate them

She looks great mate :) Finally gave mine a long overdue wash today as well. My wheels now need some serious attention

I'm not against bonnet risers, but I think with your lude's classic look, the smooth lines work better without any breaks, if you know what I mean?
