Thought I would start some work on the lude started with the rear brake dust shields

Next on the agenda is to replace the inner and outer oil seals on my distributer as the inner seal is leaking and allowing oil to seap all over inside of dizzy cap thus giving me a really weak spark

Just wondering about the rear hubs - have you had some modifications done :? the rears on my BB4 looked very different - i just changed them over a month ago :)

EDIT - :oops: youve removed the bearings :lol:

No modifications that I've done in my ownership no mate, I had to take the hub/bearing off to remove the dust shields

Those splash shields were in pretty good nick. Their biggest place for rot though is behind them near the centre, where they bolt up against the stub axle.

What did you paint them with? Looks a good finish.

Yeah my shields are in pretty good condition believe it or not I used poundland primer and poundland gloss black haha cheap scape I am lol but it's done the job so I'm happy
