Tomorrow is time I drive with an erection again.
However, no power figures, Rich didn't deem it necessary to dyno as its fully road tuned to suit new zorst, cat and crank pulley.

Re: Ratty's Type S...Supercharged
Lets update.
The main issue with my car and its current setup is the 74mm throttle body stick open especially when heatsoaked and causes high revs at junctions and throttle stick open during light throttle driving which is 90% of daily driving. This acts like a cruise control. Blipping the throttle shuts it.
Very annoying.
So i bought a blox 74mm throttle body and another black Skunk2 pro throttle to test.
Blox VS Skunk2

Unfortunately the blox didnt work. It sticks open just like the Skunk2, isnt as pretty and doesnt operate as smoothly.
So onto the black skunk2 74mm

Did it work? Did it f**k......still sticks open. Complained to Skunk2 and they want both throttle bodys sent to the USA at my cost.
So i tested a theory. I disconnected the supercharger and tied it shut so it wont spin during driving and creating more vacuum. The throttle sticking reduced to almost zero. Still sticks but much much less.
So the supercharger is making the stickyness more obvious.
The solution to the issue and works flawlessly. A counter tension spring attached to the throttle wheel. Makes the throttle cable stiffer but easy enough to operate.
Winner winner tension springs for dinner.
