Bens 5th Gen Iceberg
Just signed myself up thought id show you the progress so far.
New to Lude's but not to Honda's i love them.
Not much has happened so far but things will progress quickly.
How it started, 2.2 manual Motegi 4WS (which actually works!)
Now i'm awaiting my coilovers to come. I went with the YellowSpeed fully adjustable with damper settings. Theyre a new company but Tegiwa support them and i also believe they are the spec suspension for the Civic Cup this year, so im looking forward to getting them fitted. Will do the track rod ends while i'm there, saved a P by looking through this forum and finding out Vectra ends fit, result!

Wheels are on waiting.. These are actually REPS. And a proper good quality one as well. I've run Rota's etc before but not an unknown rep but i am surprised by the quality and weight. Ive also love Enkei RFP1's so to get the look at a fraction of the price i was happs Theyre 17x8 and 9. Tyres will be changed to probably a 225/45 all round.
Got my Pioneer screen installed
Will be getting both bumpers repainted due to the condition of them and the foglight removed and smoothed over on the rear, the patch of rust on the rear quarter where it meets the skirt, and the boot lock removed and smooth (maybe de-spoiler but i quite like it.
Some previous Honda's

Re: Bens 5thgen
Cheers! I'm near Luton so not massively far from the south coast. I will knock up a quick review of the coilovers once fitted as i think they might be the first set going onto a Lude. They're 10% off as a promo at the moment so worked out quite a bit cheaper than the equivalent BC's.
Need to shift my Golf so i can really crack on with the Lude, not a for sale ad just letting ya'll know 220bhp diesel! No matter how fast it is though, 4.5k rev just isn't the same as any Honda

Re: Bens 5thgen
Sorry for the double post, just a quick question to save me starting a new thread in a different section.
Will the rear subframe and toe arms from a 5g 2.0 work for a 2WS conversion?

He Ben!
welcome!
Nice Lude, looks great! The typeR is good looking 2 especially with those badass rims!
Why want to convert to 2WS already? I drove around for years with just my 4ws computer disconnected and bulb removed fom my dash..
Think if you want to remove it you will have to completely swap the rear suspention. meaning frame and toearms etc.
Google a bit more and you will find it.
Drive safe! and enjoy the LUDE feeling
