Jacks Blue 5G Dyno Results, Graphs, Specs and Pics.

Post by Therealjj91 » Sun Jun 18, 2017 1:13 pm

Hi all, I've been on the forum for a while and not had the chance to show off the car. Been slowly building her over the last few years and finally had her tuned and Dyno'd by Romain on Thursday and she produced a healthy 246.4bhp & 183ftlbs Tq. Romain said it could have produced more with larger diameter induction tubing and that it wasn't a 'happy dyno' so could have been 260bhp on another.

Spec list:

Kaizenspeed Balance shaft delete kit
Kings Racing extra oil clearance bearings
H22a7 head port & polished with 3 angle valve job
2 layer head gasket
ARP head studs
Skunk2 Pro 2 cams, titanium springs and retainers
Skunk2 cam seals
Adjustable cam gears
H23 manual tensioner conversion
Lightweight and under driven pullies

70mm Skunk2 throttle body with thermal gaskets, port matched to intake, intake port matched to head

NGK Iridium's and Magnecor HT leads
Silicone rad hoses
Running with a S2000 oil filter and Millers 10/40w nanodrive fully synthetic
Tuned on P28 ecu with Hondata s300 on Shell V power

Chassis/Suspension:

Thanks for looking.

Pics and details of the 3" twin loop exhaust... as far as I know one doesn't exist. 8-)

Some decent power there.

It's a OBX twin loop with a 3" inlet mated to the 3" exhaust.

Nice build mate 8) Very similar to mine :D

I think the 3" OBX Twinloop backbox isn't 3" around the loop, so that would be a bit of a restriction as well.

That will be a massive restriction. 3" inlet and the perforated tubing inside and the loop are all 2.25".
My mugen twin loop was this, it's got hot and started changing colour.

Pretty good figures though, particularly considering it's on a dyno dynamics rolling road too (which don't seem to like h22s)?

Yeah romaine said normally he'd say the twinloop was holding me back but because of the numbers said it might not be

Great figures, wow.... nice work, well done. Not a fan of the rims tho. This has got to be one of the fastest muses in here.

Brilliant build here, fair play 8-) less of lovely goodies on the engine  I'd expect this spec of build to make more power though, I think you were quite unlucky with that figure... But I'm no expert :(

At least yours is up, running and running well compared to some people... :D any plans to track it?
