If thats the Spa vid Bri, that was oil, not 4WS.Bri wrote:I have to say its not the best idea to be driving a lude when 4ws is not working, Im a sceptic even when it is, I have seen a lude trashed that was right behind me, we were pushing it, my 2ws made it round the corners but the 4ws did not, I will be converting in the future.
Exboyracer lost it too, look for him on youtube, once it goes with 4ws there is no way back.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Oh rite, well I have a theory, if you loose traction on the back end, react fast with the steering, ther rear wheels dont react as fast as the direct mechanical link to the front wheels thus leaving your rear wheels pointing the wrong way for a split second. I can name 3 accidents all of which were pushing it all with 4WS. One I witnessed first hand and 2 vids. 0 2ws accidents. Thats what tips the scales for me, I have 4WS and so far so good but its going when I can.

Re: My Lude
Has anybody on here driven HARD a 4WS Lude with 4WS not working?
Life is a game. Play the hand you were dealt. Then cheat.

I obviously don't need to mention the disbled 4WS but...
Hoping it's not coming across like we're all ganging up on you, we're obviously just concerned for your safety
And with regards to the the PAS, if you've just removed the belt, you're actually still forcing all the fluid through the rack, but with no assistance, making life a lot lot harder for yourself. Whereas if you loop the lines on the rack, after draining out most of the fluid (leaving just enough in to keep it lubricated), this will be the closest (fairly simple way) of having a manual rack
How have you gone about this? Have you just removed the belt, or have you looped the lines on the rack?sc_001 wrote:PAS disabled.

I have a couple of times (on road) when I was running really late for something. I really don't ever want to again, it's properly lively and unpredictable. Just doesn't come out of corners properly, snatches about and gets pulled off line. it won't definitely kill you, but it certainly takes about 6-7 of your 9 lives away...sc_001 wrote:Has anybody on here driven HARD a 4WS Lude with 4WS not working?
