I've seen them fitted both ways. I fit them the same way, I just imagine the washer's "containing" the bush better, and prevents more dirt and moisture getting in and around the bush also.

thats the way the original ones were fitted on, the curved edge of the washer sits over the rubber bushes so when u tighten the bottom nut the bushes squash and mould to the shape of the washer so it's tighter

That is very true never thought about that lol just the rear end seems lower for some reason the drivers side rear seems much lower maybe shock related or the bump stops are goosed there's a knock coming from there too
