Are you suggesting he has just four more to kill?
Excuse me! Sorry for the continuous thread derailment, but I'd like to clear up that only two Prelude's I have owned have died! One because the guy who crashed into me whilst I was stationary was having a seizure, and the second was due to oil pump failure... And that one will live again one day! :ugeek:

Thank you!

;)

Hi and welcome.
I also knew nothing (still don't know alot  ) but like to have a go.
As nath says, no matter how stupid you think it might be. Ask anyway. We all have to start somewhere.

Well I'd like to start slow. I have posted something on the wanted section. Looking to get a new cover for my wing mirror and looking for some tip on how to actually change it. i have the feeling I will have to dismantle the inside of the door to have access to it. Any know-how?

Put the window down so you don't accidentally smash it rather than it being in the way... better to be safe.
Find something to get under the triangle tab thing on the inside of the door (so adjacent to the mirror footprint).
Pull it/lever it off.
Then it's 3 bolts/screws IIRC and a cable to disconnect.

That's to get the mirror unit itself off. Might be easier to take the door card off in order to get the triangle covers off, but it's doable with them still in place. I imagine though you can probably change the covers without having to remove the mirror in its entirety.

You'll soon incur the wrath of the Furby for that.

Sand If you download the 5th gen service manual with Links from this link http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/wiki/in ... ce_Manuals it shows you how to take everything on the car. But here is a writeup for the 4th gen, it will most likely be the same or very similar. http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/post53471.html
