After much 'you should join LudeGen' i have finally relented.
I own a 95 Accord which i purchased from Marts fleet and im now at the point where i want to start messing with it, so let the questions commence.
So far im looking into just buying a rusted to hell Lude and swapping everything i want in, however i do have a k20 just sitting in storage, but ive not found much info in getting a k24 into an old Accord or 4th gen lude
My name is Dan, im going to be more of a lurker than a poster
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Welcome to the club Dan
Which Accord did you purchase? Think he's had about 5!

I used to own a 94 Accord. I bought a rusted 2.2 Vtec Lude with short term view of a bit of fun and a long term view of swapping the engine and good bits to the Accord.
I then fell in love with Lude and spent a fortune on getting that how I wanted it.
Ended up with two awesome cars and an upset missus.

Peeps, The car i purchased from Mart was his Green Aerodeck which i have lovingly brought back to life.
The clutch is on its last legs i feel, so rather than just replace that, i could change the whole engine at the same time, Ive already been donated an engine and box with shafts and ECU but im scared im going to need more, i like to have a whole car to pick from.
Sailor, im based in the West Midlands, but i work for a recovery company so i can travel for the right car even if it has no MOT or wheels etc, What you got to tempt me with?

When I did that, I solved it by telling her that one of the cars was hers.
We have two H22A5 5th Gens, both of which just stopped one day (electrics).Danisadude wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2019 8:04 pmSailor, im based in the West Midlands, but i work for a recovery company so i can travel for the right car even if it has no MOT or wheels etc, What you got to tempt me with?
The blue one we liked because it went well and could set off Jaguar and Citroen car alarms. It's been immobile for four years and I haven't dared look at it too closely.
It used to look look like this:-
The black one is pretty standard, including the signs of rust bubbling at the rear arches. It was bought for spares but turned out to be too good to cannibalise. It's been a fabulous tourer (except for the last two stationary years).

Money set aside for fixing at least one of them was spent elsewhere. And now, just when I was ready to come up with a new budget, our Accord has barged to the front of the queue.
I am not inclined to break them. If they do go, I'll have to get another one. Or a manual 3g?
If I remember, I'll try to get some pictures of what they look like now.
