Little bit of an update!

Interior is all stripped out and have started removing all the sound deadening.

Also had an early Christmas present and got that fitted - steering boss.

Started mounting harnesses and need to make up some new bases for the seats I got, ended up going with the same seats I have for the silver 'deck - 300zx. The harnesses are Corbeau but they've got an inertia reel at the end - more suitable for non-fixed seats and more comfortable for daily driving. They mount on existing holes so are super easy to fit too. No proper photos of the harnesses yet as I've only mounted the inertia reel so far, need to mount the seats before I go any further.

What's the plan with stripping it all out inside? (sorry if I've missed/forgotten what the aim of the build is! )

It's mouldy  everything is bloody mouldy. (*and some of the trim was damaged when we ripped it out in preparation for rwd conversion before the plan changed)

That and it'll be lighter, lighter is good, I never carry passengers really anyway so just need the two front seats anyway.

Trying to gain a bit of power through rebuild too (even though, yes, it's still a lame-ass auto right now, I know, so uncool), had a couple of quotes for cam regrind, possibly going to do OBD1 swap eventually too.

Harnesses came about more out of necessity - there isn't a mounting point for an OEM seatbelt on the drivers side it's 90% connected to the original seat annoyingly. Has the harnesses laying around so it made sense to use them.

Silver one was always going to be my 'show' car. So the green one has now become my 'go' car for a bit of fun

Possibly sourced some wheels!

I don't know if I ever posted it on here but the Ronals weren't great, one was welded and buckled and another was buckled even worse, it was basically egg shaped, so I sold the two good ones (they're on a broken suspension look trike now) when the plan was S14 conversion - thinking I'd be running 114.3 hubs.

Sourced some RSL Cults in 15x8.5et25. Hopefully they should sit relatively flush.

Trial fitted one of the bB Enkeis to gauge size (they're 15x8et25) and this is the result so looks good. :)
