The replacement wheel nuts definitely suit the rims.

New Heko Wind Deflectors

Post by nucleustylzlude » Fri Jun 28, 2013 9:55 am

Spent a couple of quid on the Mazda 6 this month in the shape of some wind deflectors courtesy of Heko.

They're very nicely made, smoked plastic. They install easy but the added clips to secure them were tough to push into the seals. But overall, I love them!

The fronts have a funky shape to them so they don't obscure the wing mirrors, but makes them look that little bit meaner. Plus the fact they are set into the window seals makes them very discreet. I.e. they don't stick out too much.

I've also bought some spigot rings, the wheels have been fine but figured as my daily and the cost of £5 for some plastic I may as well fit them. So I'll be doing that next week during my lunch hours.

Also received a package courtesy of Cebul / Ratty in the form of an arch roller. So I can roll the Mazda's arches and finally get it lowered. Think I'll do the Prelude's arches while I have it. 8)
Thanks guys.

Cheers guys, she's not bad for a daily family wagon. Still get my Variable Valve Timing fix!
Can't wait to lower her after the arch rolling though, might reduce the tyre width from 225 down to 215 and drop down 5 on the tyre profile too to allow the fitment better. The offset is pretty far out.

They were also a bargain, some place on ebay had the on sale for £25.74 delivered! 'Supposedly' down from £71 delivered. Makes them even better with the price.

Still looking for a spare grill to 'mod' to a debadged/lined setup. And have my eye on a front lip for it, subtle black ABS one. Oh and some different exhaust trims, larger oval ones. Just subtle things, I can't leave a car alone!

Heko wind deflectors are quality. I will get them for my daily Mazda 3 too, but cheepest what I've found it was £45 I think
ludes are ment to be driven, not wanking around on a stand like a Civic.

Yeah they're good, from Poland I believe, is that not where you reside from Cebul?
£45 is around what I found mine at, so when I saw these on sale for £25 I snapped them up.

I'll get the arch roller back to you in the next week or two. Thanks again. The plastic roller on it is more or less all worn, you want a few quid for the use and invest in a new bit, they're about £20 on ebay.
