as i said to you on the phone earlier it could have been a whole lot worse. looking at the way the car bends and the speed you were travelling, imagine the devastation if you were going faster. luck was on your side because you got out ok not hurt.
yes it is jobby that you have had this ding dong nath, but your still here and your little one wasnt in the car.
so when are you going to anounse your new project?
spill the beans or i will.

Re: Nathan's '89 CA5 Accord Aerodeck
Cheers guys. Yeah just got a bit of whiplash that I was suffering from yesterday, but it's eased up today already.
Ok, what happened was, ever since I've had the carpet out I've had (you ready for this?...) A dehumidifying ceramic egg on my dash. It's been there a little while and I've had no issues with it whatsoever. It's got a fairly substancial base on it and it was on my rubber dash mats so hasn't been sliding about. I generally try not to drive like a kebab either, but Friday morning I was stopped at the traffic lights just before my work. The lights went green so I pulled off, just as I had done every other day of the week, bearing left around the building that sits right on the corner, when all of a sudden the egg decides to roll across my dash behind my steering wheel All would have been fine if I just let it roll, but my instinctive reaction was to reach out and grab it before it fell on the floor and smashed. I'm not sure if I even took my eyes off of the road as it all happened so quickly, but in reaching for the egg behind the steering wheel with my left hand, my forearm touched on the steering wheel, and unfortunately the way I usually take that corner is to turn and then release the wheel to self-straighten. My arm on the wheel and the power-steering in the Aerodeck being so light I stopped the wheel self-straightening and instead carried on turning into the building and a telegraph pole around the corner Bang! So fortunately no-one else was hurt or involved and the pole a building didn't show any wounds either, so I'm glad about that as well.
And just waiting for the pics to finish uploading on Photobucket Sam
I almost went for Benny's 2nd gen, but I found a slightly cheaper option
Actually need to let him know I changed my mind!

So what's next?
Me too. I think I already prefer the next car and I've not even driven it yet! Currently sat on my drive thoughmercutio wrote:at least your ok buddy and noone else was involved
