To move you into a different class on the basis that another dyno has a different reading is pretty unfair. Basically renders the first dyno obsolete and therefore it should be removed from the official list if they are just gonna disregard it's readings?
What about the rest of the competitors that used the first dyno?
What is stopping you from fitting the 3" manifold you were talking about, going back to the first dyno for a run and then dropping down a class again as it is clearly under-reading? :lol

I'd rather that than knowing there's a guy in the class below me bettering my timesMerlin wrote:TBH I would like to put this behind be now. Although the issue isn't over as they guys in the class above me wont be happy at being bumped down and me taking the points. I feel like I'd be the focus of people complaining in whatever group I am in.

Good bit of drama it seems you've had there. (Christ, I'm turning into Yoda!

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude - SLS Round 3 (drama)
Thanks.
Gordon & Nathan, the head scrutineer did say to me that they will have to review all of the other cars that used that dyno. That is about as much as I want to know.
As it stands right now I have just under two months to prepare the car for the 2nd half of the season, I know what I have to do to challenge for class D podium, and at least I can hold my head high knowing I did nothing wrong and didn't act like a little bitch when my car was protested and I was moved.
In fact I want to get my suspension upgrades fitted and tuned before Japfest @ Knockhill so I can get out on track and try it out before competing. Plus give some LG'ers a ride in the car on track.

those Dyno Dynamics dyno's seem to underestimate HP in my opinion
they always seem to low
so now your in class D can you up the power abit?

I could up the power but I would need to speak to Rich to see what he recommends. TBH I don't really have the cash to be pumping more into the engine just now. That might me something for the end of the season. I think the suspension upgrades will yield batter lap times, I would also like to raise my rev limiter a touch as I am hitting the limiter just before I want to brake on the main straight. I have only driven the car 3 times so I expect I will get better as well. So there is time to be take off before any increase in power.
