Thanks guys
Yeah the dyno guff was a bit of a PITA but it was all good in the end. This season should be good, round 5 will be televised on Motors TV

I am sure it will be delayed broadcast and probably a half hour highlights show.

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude
Fingers crossed I will
Last year my fastest lap was a 60.5s @ a recorded 209whp and 1220Kg. This year I will be approx 1320kg but with much better suspension. Plus I felt that I was getting faster near the end of the season. I aim to only be half a second or so slower than I was last year, despite being up to 100kg heavier.
To bulk the car up I am putting in my passenger seat with all the harness (~24kg), 50kg of ballast in the boot, and either a bit of ballast in another bit of the car or run with more fuel. Ballast in the boot is no bad thing as in the wet my arse end liked to come round on me.
I think this year, with the car legitimately placed in class E, I will have the most powerful car in class but also the most heavy. In class E last year the record lap was a 62.4s, I was lapping 2 seconds faster than this. Even with my weight I think I'll be lapping in the 61s range so I think I will be competing for the win at each round.
For this year I have a GPS performance meter so I can see where I am doing well or where I can gain time in my lap so hopefully that will progress me further http://www.racelogic.co.uk/Store/produc ... x-%252d-01
The performance meter will build up a dataset of your driving to assist you in developing your lap.
