Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude
So 7 weeks to go and so much to do. We have stalled out on getting the car sorted as Steve is getting his new garage sorted out. Once that is operational we'll be going flat out to get the car ready. The car needs:

- To get the leaking brand new clutch slave cylinder replaced
Probably a new flywheel and clutch kit combo (thinking of the Exedy stage 3 three puk kit with the stainless steel competition clutch 9lb flywheel)
Get all new engine and gearbox fluids
Fit and setup new coilovers
Paint and fit new 5th gen rear upper arms
Fit new inner and outer track rod ends
Modify seat brackets to allow the seat to sit lower
Buy and fit 75kg of ballast
Buy new set of dry weather tyres
Fit wet weather tyres on rims
New rear brake pads
Install wiring for camera and performance meter
Go to body shop for rear arch clean up
Get wheel alignment
Go to power & weight testing
And at some point in the next 7 weeks my wife will give birth to our 2nd child

When the car has had a wash and a polish I'll re-take the pic with my DSLR

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude
I got them done the fast and dirty way on the thought that I could spend mega bucks and get them done properly only to slam the car into the tyre wall. So they were sanded, filled and painted.wurlycorner wrote:How comes the arches need another trip to the body shop? I thought they were fine after being done last year?
