Ah, time and a decent garage with space. The two things I need for my build right now!

Looking just amazing bud, glad you found you can use the Hasport K24 ones, not cheap but will have a warranty right? Can't wait to see this up and running, and by your updates its shouldn't be too long. 8-)

The gauge is awesome, hooked it up to my mates car and went for a spin. It gives you instantaneous MPG, average, distance to empty, time to empty and will also show any fault codes the ECU is throwing. It also picks up all sensors on the motor and you can configure the screen to show anything.
And where would you find such a gauge? :D

I can't believe how fast this has progressed. I'm not sure you're right for this forum after all :?

You can get the gauge here: http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragauge/index.htm

I am planning on getting the shafts that will handle 500 or so hp, this will give me room for any future mods plus i'd rather brake something in the box that the shafts which could cause body/suspension damage. I think in the future i'll have to upgrade the gbox internals so i'd rather spend the money now than pay out twice later down the road.

Mate, it feels like its been forever without my car! Plus I have been getting a load of stick from my two best mates who constantly point out all the old people driving Honda's, they own a Astra VXR & a Sierra Cosworth 4x4, both of those ara dead even on a roll so am eager to get the car running and show them a clean pair of heels.. Tbh they are getting a bit uneasy about the weight saving, the close ratio 6 speed box and the power output so have started planning their upgrades already!

Ditto!

Speed of our builds are not our strong points eh Nath?

To be fair, we have spaced out buying things through cashflow with cr@p going on in our lives. Always something, other halves, house, kids...

So back to Naths point, do you fit in here?

Don't worry guys, i'd be part of your club if I also had a house and kids to deal with! Anyway, you can't rush perfection!

I didn't twig that you had a 4th gen, the gauge will fit all UKDM 5th gens with OBDII but not the Type S as it didn't have the port which I found out after I bought the gauge almost a year ago, glad I can finally use it now though!

Works progressed pretty slowly over the past 3 weeks, I was surprised with a weeks hols in Cyprus for my birthday from my misses which was absolutely awesome :) We got back last monday but had a massive back log of orders to work through before I could start work on the car, however today I picked up a few bits n pieces from the fabricators and had an hour to spare so went to see if they fitted to the car:
