Sam.. £3k asking price for sure and then take offer just under it.

You can alway have a go in my Type-S after.

And as LLL says, it's only a car so maybe you can get one after in the future when time allows. 8-)

I reckon it's a £3k car and TBH I don't think it will make any difference to how quickly it sells if it's priced at £2.5k instead of £3k - it's the sort of car that will never sell quickly based on price. If people want one, they want one and will pay what it takes.
If they don't want a prelude, they wouldn't buy it, no matter what it's priced at (unless it's bargain basement few hundred quid ebay auction territory!)

If you sell Sam, I think you will massively regret it pretty quickly tbh. Give me a shout if you want a chat.

I'm with Lude lover on this. House is more important and an investment. Cars.....not so much. Get a house, secure finances, then.....because race car. :geek:

Cheers for the words of support guys. Here is where I am.
I am changing my outlook in life, I am trying to cut my costs. Currently this car costs me around £200 a month to tax fuel and insure. I also pay £150 a month on a maxed out credit card. So I sell the lude, pay off the card saving me £350 per month. Also paying off the card and using it sensibly increases my credit rating. I love the prelude and do not want or really need to sell but I am now looking at the bigger picture. I want a house I can call my own because for 5 and a half years now I have been renting a room in a house. I need to move on. But don't fear, I will own my 1st gen one day.

your spot on Sam as much as i love ludes and spending my dosh on my car at your age there are other priorities and renting is just throwing money away.
I dont know how much rent you pay but a mortgage is always going to be better and now is the time to do it, go for it buddy you can always look for another toy when your set 8-)

stick around though i still havnt sampled your barbecue
