No Need to make me sound like an arse hole. @NafemanNathan

I personally Bought a brand new gasket for this from eBay, (you can check my previously bought items) just before the MOT and had the garage fit it for me before the MOT and the sump plug was Helicoiled. It wasn't leaking at all when I sold it.

It was perfect when I sold it. I'm sorry you're having issues with it. I don't think I'm to blame, it's just a spot of bad luck. I cleaned the Sump perfectly before the brand new gasket went on and then a professional fitted the Gasket for me as I'd messed up two sump gaskets Prior to that.

Hope you get it sorted soon dude!

Thats fine, It's just broken already and been packed with sealant so i had suspicions as im sure you would too.

Anyway, the new gasket's turned up, on ebay it says will fit B20A1 but on the packaging it says for B20A5, can someone confirm this will still fit?

Cheers

Awesome keeps getting better and better, they started stripping it down but the sump plug thread on the sump has been stripped so is leaking from there too! They said they cant do anything with that so needs a new one -.- and being so old they can't get one and I wouldn't have a clue where to start looking :(
I duno if any anyone on here has a spare one lol?

What a drokking joke the guy who sold you this car is! I hate to say it, but I'm so glad I went with my gut on this one and never went through with buying it! I'm sorry mate :(

How much steel is left in that area? How corroded is it? Could they weld on a new threaded boss for a new sump plug?
