Prelude parts compatible with accord 6th gen

Post by CrankmasterII » Tue Sep 10, 2013 3:28 pm

Anyone know if the following parts of 5th gen prelude will fit onto 6th gen accord(2001) 2.0
Preludes I have fit parts are 2.0 non vtec and 2.2 vti
Suspension
Drive shafts
Upper control arm
Exhaust incl cat

Just bought an accord and needs the parts listed above so would be handy if the parts from prelude fitted
Thanks

Never heard of any other those bits fitting and I'm sure it'd be common knowledge by now if they did.

:? Possibly not actually... It's surprising how many different variations of the H badge there are out there!

I've got my 6th gen Accord F20B6 drive shafts fitted into an H22A from a Prelude, and I understand Prelude H22A shafts can be used instead in the Accord. And the suspension arms look identical, I'm actually currently weighing up whether I should buy 5th gen Accord arms for my BB4 as those generations seem to share a platform.

And just to muddy the waters further, my 2nd gen Prelude and 3rd Gen Accord look identical in the running gear/engine component department :?

I'm likely to be wrong, but I think the Prelude and Accord have shared a platform for a long time, so maybe some parts are interchangeable??
